Thread: Zac Posen Rose Clutch

Head on over to the Zac Posen section over at eLuxury (dot com), they just got in some new items. While I was browsing the Posen newbie’s, I noticed this clutch. Where shall I begin? First of all, I want to address the fact that the name of this piece doesn’t match the clutches features at all. This Posen piece is named the Rose Clutch. Hmm… an accessory with a name like ‘Rose Clutch’ should appear a bit more feminine, don’t you all think? I don’t know how you bagistas feel about this accessory, but personally, this particular piece reminds me of a Transformer of some sort. It must be all those geometric shape features and its sharp edgings; and the new “Z” logo (found right in the middle of the bag) isn’t so appealing to me, either. Although I feel that this bag is a bit too complex for my taste, I can name a couple of great features found on this Posen, too. Zac Posen dresses many of its bags in great leather, and this clutches grained nappa leather seems incredibly smooth. I admire its grey suede lining as well, and the clutches flat base is also a plus in my book! The ‘Rose Clutch’ definitely sports a distinctive but cool design. So, what do you ladies think? Would you carry this clutch?
