Fringe on handbags is one of those recurring trends. So much so, that it really can't be called a trend anymore. What I find interesting is the variations that come with each passing season. What I mean is, there are trends within this trend. Check out the Yves Saint Laurent Cabas Chyc Linen East/West Bag and you will see what I mean.
What do I see when I look at this bag? Fringe, of course! It isn't fringe in the traditional sense, but it IS fringe nonetheless. I'm talking about those raw edges on the linen fabric. They create a fringe that is short, stubby, and gorgeous! I love it! The linen fabric itself isn't half bad either. I like the rich texture and the deep red color (called Poppy)...
