    Default Poupetteluxe opinions

Have any of you checked out Mypoupette.com's auction site?

    PoupetteLuxe.com

Some of the prices seem too good to be true

I'm sure it's okay; it's run by the person who runs MyPoupette (although I've heard some conflicting details about some MPRS). I think a lot of the merchandise is cheap because I don't know if a lot of people are registered with them. I know that if you want to buy/sell there you have to pay a monthly fee (I've been told $25 per month).

What scares me is that some MPRS are accused of selling fakes/mirror image copies. Do you know how humiliating/heartbreaking it is to have bought a bag from a "reputable" source, only to have someone tell you it's a fake right on the spot? That's what happened to this one person who bought from an MPRS and actually brought the bag to an LV boutique.

I've always wondered why some bags are being sold cheaper than others, but I reason:

How is the condition of the bag? Like new? Fair?
Is it a vintage/discontinued style? (oftentimes these sell cheaper than continuing styles)
Has the seller sold authentic bags in the past? (CHECK FEEDBACK ALWAYS)
Does the seller offer a refund in case it's not authentic?

    Just my two cents.

Very good points. I would also though in there 'do your research' on that bag or style in particular , there are many sites out there that help guide you or give you tips on authenticating a bag. ALTHOUGH, I have recently ran accross a couple sites that are LIARS only to advertise there stuff.
