this1chic, I like the Neptune!!
what do you guys think of the EOS? I like the color.. but it doesn't look like a comfortable shoulder bag.  (currently on sale for $347.50 @ pinkmascara)

^ i was thinking the same thing about the EOS, it seems like the straps would dig into your shoulder a bit if the bag had enough stuff in it (which, knowing me, probably would). but i do love the color! the Neptune picture is in that color and i love it but i think i "need" another black bag.
also the EOS looks sort of like it's supposed to be a fold-over clutch but it isn't... |

i just remember reading on ideeli that some people have had dye issues with some of AH's bags. i just put in a question to Alexis Hudson to see which bags have vegetable dyes... |

I've never heard that before.
 Yeah, I totally can't decide either. Usually at these sales I grab what I can, put it in my cart, then decide. lol. Seems like if I spend too long thinking before placing the bag in my cart (@ a HL sale -- 20 seconds) it will be too late.

 the problem that i have is that i feel like if i spend all that time putting "everything" into my cart, i'll inevitably miss something that will sell out or become all reserved before i can actually put it into my cart. this is so nerve-wracking!   all of those bags i posted earlier are from the Spring collection. i'm actually hoping now that there will be some Fall collection bags in Grape Croco or Midnight Moonlight Ombre so that i can add a purple bag to my collection. The Sale is Tomorrow!!
I haven't decided what my cap is yet... the bags usually retail $300-$1,000. hum.. hopefully there under $200  I love that range!! lolOh and checked out these pretties:  TAHOE-NAVY OMBRE (expandable) - more at standardstyle  Atlas Handbag - more at kataphileo The Atlas reminds me alot of the EOS.. love the Atlas shoulderstrap!

so, Emily Ironi herself of AH wrote me back! she basically said that certain colors of bags which are dyed with vegetable dyes are meant to be enjoyed "naked" (i.e., without protective glazing). this is reasonable, and it just means that you have to be more careful with your bags in terms of moisture, color transfer, etc... so i think i personally will steer clear of the Teal and Vanilla colors because i don't take as good care of my bags as i should.  it was very nice to know that the owners are so involved in their product still. i can't wait until the sale! |
