Oh, I know!!! I called again today and they said that they have not recieved the shipment from F+C yet. They have another sale to ship out before they even get to the F+C shipment!!!! I was like what about 5-7 days??? She was like that is once we get the shipment from the company...it's 5-7 days for us to ship!

Ok so I finally got through!!!! I was told the bags will be going out at the end of the week. Nothing was said about short shipping so I think we'll all get our bags! YAAAAAA!

I just got through and she said by the end of this week or the first of next week.(because of the 4th of July holiday)
She did say that they would send us an email with the tracking info.

This is a little off topic, but what about the other sample sale sites? Like does the Gilt Group have a similar policy? I've never ordered from them. Do the items come straight from the brand having the sale or do the items have to be shipped to the sample sale people first then sent out?

I mean... I know the prices are great... but I don't think I'm going to buy anything from Haute Look anymore. I'm too impatient. Plus, if I got short shipped, I wouldn't want a credit, I'd want my money back.

Ok Haute Look is a liar, it's been 2 weeks and the bags haven't reached anyone. 15 days my "you know what". I just want my damn bag.

Okay I am really upset about this whole shipping situation (current frustration: f+c bag sale), but really it is not totally hautelooks fault. When we order the bags from hautelook they have to wait for the bags to be shipped to them.


One thing I am confused about. H.L. Guidelines state:

Orders placed Monday-Friday will begin processing that day, excluding holidays, and will ship within 14 business days pending availability and credit verification. Orders placed on Friday after 1 PM PST will begin processing on the following Monday. HauteLook will contact you with a follow-up email if the merchandise you have selected is not currently in stock or if we need additional identification provided for credit verification. We use UPS and Federal Express for delivery, and therefore are unable to deliver to APO/FPO addresses, as well as P.O. Boxes. We do not offer Saturday delivery.
*DELIVERY TIME DOES NOT INCLUDE SATURDAYS SUNDAYS OR HOLIDAYS
But then when you place the order it says bag will be shipped within 5-7 business days.


It's confusing.

Some of you have inquired about our relatively long shipping times. We would like to take this opportunity to explain the HauteLook concept and how Hautelook works.

HauteLook revolves around the following core principal: offering customers authentic merchandise from great brands at the best prices anywhere. HauteLook is a platform with which brands can reach you, the customer, directly. In essence, you are buying directly from the brand. This ensures no middlemen, no extra costs in the distribution channel and guarantees that you get the best price possible.How it Works
Prior to a sales event, we agree with the brand the items which are reserved for the sale. Following completion of a sale, we register all orders and confirm these with the brand by sending a list of orders. Brands then have 5-7 days to send all goods to our warehouse.

After the goods have reached our warehouse, our teams sort all items and ship the goods on to you. Depending on the shipping method you chose, your estimated arrival date is calculated from the day the product leaves our warehouse.

As a result, shipping times run between 10-14 days from the day of the sale. Unfortunately, it is not possible to get the product to you earlier without incurring a huge price increase. We continually invest into logistics and work on making our processes as efficient as possible.

Me either. That's was kind of weird, especially when they told us that they were sending them out. Oh well, I guess it's not that big of a deal.. but still it would have been nice.
