    Default I hate HauteLook

    They take FOREVER to ship. I placed my order for the C&C dress on 3/20...it's already 4/3 and it still hasn't even SHIPPED!! It's still "pending shipment". I know they say it takes an extra 5-7 days to actually ship the items, but this was 14 days and it's not even in the mail!! I am so bummed because I only bought the dress for my friend's wedding in NY this weekend and now I definitely won't be receiving it!

    I hate HauteLook...also to charge me almost $13 to NOT SHIP MY ITEM FOR 2 WEEKS is ridiculous too!!!

    I'm there with you. I just received the "order shipped" email yesterday from them for the C & C. And they never responded to my inquest to return several Orion dresses and the Jet ones. I really don't want a credit. I want a refund!

    Did you email them? They say that it takes a while "a bit longer" since the items don't come directly from them..
    In order for HauteLook to offer the most styles, the largest quantity of each style, from the most extensive selection of brands at the absolute best prices available anywhere, shipping will take a bit longer. All items are authentic and come directly from our brand partners. When you place your order, HauteLook must first receive the items from the brand before shipping them on to you. Allowing for a 5-7 business day shipping window enables HauteLook the ability to offer the maximum amount of styles brands have.

    ... but at the same time, I'm a little glad my McQ order is taking a bit longer... i think a couple of the things I ordered are going to be too small, so now I guess I have this extra time to hit the gym. lol

    ya i emailed them but haven't received any response yet. ugh. frustrating. i dont care...i'll still wear them but it's annoying that I thought i'd have it by now.

    Well here's the reply email I got:

    "Hi,

    We are so sorry that your order is still pending shipment. We have given you
    HauteLook credit in the amount of $12.84, which is what you paid for
    shipping. Your order should be shipping today, and you will receive an email
    with a tracking number once it ships.

    I think it was nice of them to give me the $12 shipping fee as a credit back - but I don't know if I'll ever use that credit bc I still think paying $12 in shipping is pretty insane.

    ^^^ Gee... that sucks Susie. Yeah, the thing I ordered today was $8 something to ship. I think its a bit much considered it probably weighs close to nothing. Oh well, at least they apologized.
