sounds like his mother really wants you guys to stick together. yes, it is very nice of her to take you on vacation and all but i mean what, does she think you two are kids or something? i would be so aggravated if that happened to me. they should understand that if going to the outlets is important to you, then you guys need to make some time for that. i mean, this isn't just her vacation. and i totally agree about the whole eating out thing. i mean, i can understand keeping a few things to snack on or make a quick lunch or something, but there is no point in cooking every night for dinner. you are on vacation and you should be experiencing different restaurants/food even if it is going to cost more money.

But you see, his mom is like that though (e.g. cheap).

You know they even have a Barney's outlet there!

Alicia, of course! LOL! Well, they have a Dior outlet there, so I thought I'd check that out. They also have a Burberry and a Fendi outlet there... wonder how many bags they'll actually have though.

(they are listed under "Designer Fashions and Sportswear") Of course they have a Coach outlet there too, so I'm sure I'll take a peek in there since I think my sister-in-law would like something from there. I suppose they will have bags at the Barneys outlet too, but I'm not sure what they will or will not have. Princesslisa sold a MBMJ bag that she had purchased at a Barneys outlet, so I know they have some stuff.

i've been to their Coach outlet. thats the only one i went to though. I think they have a Dooney outlet too. But anyways, the Coach outlet was awesome, imo. there was a lot to choose from. it was way bigger than the one we have up here. they had lots of sale items from previous seasons at really good prices. the only down side was that it was jammed with people! in some spots, i could barely move to see what i wanted to look at, LOL! but i think you'll be happy going there! you will definitely find some awesome deals there. i just wish i had more time to look around...

i say have a chat with your husband and mother in law about how you feel about the trip. Let them know what you want out of the trip and Im sure you can make a compromise. If you have kids maybe grandma and grandpa could have a special bonding day while mom and dad went to the outlets and out to eat or somthing.

^^^ Funny thing is, the only kid that will be with us is our 5 yr old niece. Me and my husband don't have any kids. Why can't they go do something with her for awhile? I'm sure they don't need us tagging along anyway. LOL!

I won one of those stuffed monkeys that have the velcro on their hands and feet. Well, while I was in the restroom, he was holding the monkey for me. He stuck the monkey's hands together and then threaded the monkey's tail up in between its legs and then rested it on the joined hands. You know... so it would look like the monkey had a really big you-know-what. Anyway, he handed it back to me when I came back out and I didn't notice it right away until people kept looking over and me and smirking or giggling.

Of course I beat him with the monkey after that... too bad it was a soft, stuffed animal!

LOL! Hilarious. Let me tell you a fully Mother-In_Law story. I was at her house one day and was given a fake fendi bag as a present. Well, of course I threw it away, in the trash can. Nothing wrong with fakes, but I just don't do them. I rather carry a no name bag then a fake. So she asked me why I threw ip away and I told her it was fake. She took them out of the trash can and out them in her room! WTF!!!!!!!!!!!

My BFF's Mother-In_Law bought her 4 year old son some fake gap clothes! Are you serious!???????! Needless to say after that she gave my BFF money for shopping. All 10m dollars of it!

I'm sorry, but that is just too funny!!! Your husband sounds like such a goofball!!! Is he the same age as you,lol! Sounds like you're definitely the mature one!!!

But it sounds like he can be a lot of fun and really make people laugh!
