I wanted a pair of fabulous jeans and I had heard that Roberto Cavali jeans were the bomb. I went strait to Nordstrom's and found a pair of "Limited Edition" and had them hemmed while I shoe shopped. When I returned later to pick up my jeans imagine my horror to find that they were upwards of seven hundred dollars.
NEVER! I didnt know they were that much!!!
The worst is me sneaking in the bag to hide in the closet when my husband discovers the bag later with the price tag still attached and asked, "You Paid How Much?!?!?!"
I have not brought a pair of "exspensive" jeans since...I'll stick with the Joe's and the Seven's...thats as good as it gets.

PS They make my but look fabulous! :)

Haha! If I accidentally bought $700 jeans, I think my husband would murder me. Yep, and there would be no finding the body either.

oh wow...ya sorry $700 is too much for me too. but i have totally been stuck in that situation where you never asked the price and already made the commitment, only to find out it was WAY more than you thought. i always thought that talking about money/price was tacky and so i'd sneak a look at the tags to make sure i could afford it. haha like at the gym the other day - i just wanted to buy tanning lotion. how much could it cost? $20...no... more like $50 and for me it wasn't worth it. I was like "ah ya know...maybe i should try the $5 sample instead...who knows if i'll even like this".

Yeah thats what happened to me, I should have just opened my mouth and asked before they started to alter the jeans and what not. BIG MISTAKE. I love the jeans but I would never knowingly pay seven hundred bucks for them, thats just crazy. I dont pay lot of clothes...now a bag...thats another story.

hey susie q....if you liked the lotion you tried you would be better off to buy it online. They charge double of what the lotion really is in the salons.

My husband is pretty good with the expensive handbags because I can keep them really nice and I get a lot of compliments...but Jeans? He'd make me take them back and then take me to Sears...LOL
