Default Are white bikini's a no-no?

So I need a new bikini for my VA Beach vacation with my girlfriends. I really like Ella Moss' bikinis and since I have medium colored skin - white looks really good on me. Black tends to make me look pasty and I just don't really want any colors (unless it's that red bikini that she offers too). But my question is - is a white bikini a major no-no? What do you think about this:

I think white is fine if you have the skin for it.

I've never heard of a white bikini being a no-no! I say, if you like it, and it looks good on you... then go for it!!!

^^^ That's what I was thinking. It would be a no-no if people could see stuff through it when it got wet.

That would be the only thing I would worry about. As long as it has a good lining I think it would look great. I like the white bikini a lot!! Def not a no-no.
