Question Pellevera Italian Leather bag $50 off - tempted...

    Hi there,

Any of you heard of Pellevera? I am very tempted by this bag as hand luggage for a forthcoming trip.

Briefcase Direct - Handmade Italian leather laptop carry case

The quality looks delicious in the photos but does anyone have anything from them? Or ordered from Briefcase Direct?

    Steph.

    Steph.

Steph frist off wecolme to The Bag Forum!

Secondly, If you are using this for travel with a laptop I suggest this:

    Women's Leather Tote by Brenthaven

If you download the PDF on page it will show you other views of this bag and give you all the informatin about it.

Also here is a Promo Code for 30% off on this laptop case!
Just enter it in the checkout box marked Promo Code.

    APP-30

The reason I suggest this is that I use this Bag (and yes I'm a Guy!) because it is the best one out there!
Most laptop bags that have zippers that go all the way around fail in 6 months or so of day in day out use.
Now this what I use this bag to carry: 15.5 Macbook Pro and power supply, Apogee Duet (recording interface), 2 500 GB Lacie External hard drives and power supplies, Headphones, wireless mouse, cellphone, blank CD's, and Misc Cables.
In all about 15 pounds of stuff.
This laptop bag is very well padded, all leather, and is very durable and well constructed.
I guess where I'm going is I carry about $4000 dollars worth of stuff in mine, and trust it!
I look at it this way I just bought wife a Jimmy CHoo Ross, and a bunch of D&B Zebra Bags and could have bought myself any laptop bag for my equipment but I choose this one because of all the other badly made laptop cases out there and have I gone through a bunch over the years!
BTW I've had this one for almost a year of hard use and it shows no signs of wear!
If you have any question just ask.

    Just my opinion,
    I hope this helps

That bag's leather does look nice. Well, if you like it, go for it, it's a great price and all. But I wouldn't suggest a handle bag like that. It gets heavy after a while... and I know it comes with detachable shoulder strap... but it's still a pain. I suggest you find yourself a tote bag/laptop bag. Like the one Matt suggested you get. I have an Alienware laptop and when I ordered the laptop, they included a carrying case that had a leather handle, and a detachable shoulder strap. Maybe it's just my laptop, but I get really tired from carrying it around. So i've ditched the Alienware bag and I carry my laptop in my Juicy Couture Tote... or my Coach Sig. Stripe Bag. Since they are both shoulder bags, it feels a lot better! That's just my Opinion.
