Thread: What did you buy today?

that is BEAUTIFUL KANMP!! wow...i love the studs at the bottom.

today i purchased a roundtrip flight to Shanghai. i guess i didn't buy it because my company is paying me back but...you know...at least it's another 16,000 miles added to my mileage program! woo hooo!! my free roundtrip ticket to Iceland is coming faster and faster! I think now in total I have 62,000 miles! wowie. and that's not including the mileage i have on the other airlines.

Good for you girl!!! What's in Iceland? I have a good friend from there who lives in California now.

Well my boyfriend and I have always loved the music from Iceland (Bjork, Sigur Ros) and I also love the design and art there. Plus we like cold weather. I've had friends go there before and they thought it was fantastic so that's our big destination trip that we have been planning for two years now. It's not like it's expensive to get there - but apparently the hotel cost is ridiculous.

That and the food and beer! My DH spend a few weeks over there a few years back and almost blew our sons education fund on drinking and eating (keep in mind he can drink his share). With the dollar being so weak now, too, it could get ugly! But I have heard no one ever regret going there...you'll love it I am sure!
