Well I cashed in on the Funkylala.com sale. For $125 I got 2 dresses that are adorable! I hope they fit - no returns. Oh well...but it's good that the code works for sale items. They had a few Rebecca Minkoff bags on sale too but I can't spend more than $125...and even that is a bit for me in this time of financial woe.
I got the Beau Soleil wrap dress in Black in Petite (I can get away with that since it's flowy) and the other dress was sold out in the white but I took a risk (without seeing the actual color) and went for the Red in Small. CROSS FINGERS because there's a no return policy!!
UPDATE: SUPER BUMMER they just sent me an email saying the black dress was SOLD OUT!!! ACK screw them

The bottom is, the rest is a fabric. I'm thinking it will make a great beach/sports bag because it's cute and inexpensive!
And as for Lucy, as soon as I started unpacking my stuff she wanted to help. I have eternal cat butt on all of my clothing since she keeps them warm if I set them down anywhere on the bed or floor.

Oh, it was a fun test. It's to see if a cyst in my breast is malignant.
F21 has some awesome stuff. I would have spent more time there but I ran out of time. They have a ton of shirts and dresses though. And a ton of shoes, bags and jewelry.

wow Maevey! I hope everything is alright. Breast cancer runs real strong in my family but so far everyone has been keeping up on check-ups and if anything appears, it gets taken out immediately in surgery. Gosh, here's something way personal, my Uncle has a tumor in his chest/breast area. He just found out last week it's benign thank god...because male breast cancer I hear is REAL bad.

It's rampid in my family as well. You need to make sure you get a mammogram every year once you reach 35.
Ironically I went in for an ultrasound on another cyst I have about 2 inches over. This one was sore though and the theory is "Cancer is painless, which is why it grows and kills so easily".
So they were running a scan on the one and just happened to find this other one. One needle in the boob later (and let's discuss how pleasant that was), I am now waiting for results.
My husband didn't know about the severity of the testing until I came home afterwards, at which point he handed me a wad of cash and said, "Call Heather (my bf) and do some retail therapy".

awww wow... well I hope all is well. It's good that you keep up on checkups. That's very very important. Early detection is the #1 way to prevent it and get rid of it. My mom was offered a genetic test to see if it's in our genes and so she asked the doctor if she tested positive for the breast cancer to be in her genes - what would her next step be. he said "full masectomy". my mom thought that was crazy - so she didn't take the test but continually is very strict on her check-ups.

I'm weird that way. Whatever works. I remember in high school I ran with a group of girls (survival of the fittest and all that) that were totally designer. Although one bought "Goach" like stuff to fit in. They would all go ballistic that I mixed Ferragamos and Express or DKNY and Target. I still get a kick out of the superficialism of it all. Oh, and forget my vintage pieces. You would have thought that I hadn't washed it ever and it came directly off another person or something. Loved vintage.
Ironically I always got compliments, which led me into costuming and personal shopping.
Now who's laughing, eh?
And that being said, I LOVE my Manolos. My husband asked me to count how many pairs I had last night. I told him I prefered not to. LOL
