i was shopping around for a work shirts at a local dept store David Jones (kinda like australia's barneys) and i came across this baby..
 i wasnt planning on getting an edith cos i have a mulberry bayswater on its way, but it was on sale. so i got a great deal at only $675   didnt get a dustbag tho.. the SA said tt's probably why its 'reduced' has anyone else ever had this experience before (not get a dust bag)? im kinda anal about dust bags... >.<  Last edited by thejuliex; April 20th, 2008 at 11:30 PM. |

^^ Yeah I've seen a couple bags at Nordstrom Rack and TJMaxx that don't come with the dustbags. Weird huh? I guess people buy the bags than return then without the dustcover.. .. I swear you can return anything to nordstrom's.

I bought a new bed for my doggie. Her old one was all flat and lumpy... she didn't want to sleep on it anymore.
 Her new one is so squishy! It's funny, she hopped on it right away and laid right down!

Big shopping day for me, I bought: 4 Summer Tops from Mango, Mango multi colored flip flops. And when I came home they nice DHL guy dropped off a box for me with lots of goodies in it, so I got RM MAM in Night with gold crackle bottom, HH Cupcake coin purse, HH Leather cuff, HH dress and a Coach Bangle, pics here: Samia's bag collection

I'm heading over to Anthropologie in about an hour because I stopped in there yesterday and it was dresses galore. I didn't have time to try anything on. Today I do.

Went to nordstrom rack: The coat was like $30, Treesje belt around $30, and a couple pairs of earring.
Oh and my Calphalon pans finally arrived. Now I need to learn how to cook

oh man... I haven't really bought anything since NY and my online splurge. I realized though, now that the weather is super nice, I have nothing to wear but tee-shirts!!! I have plenty of handbags and shoes but nothing else. Oh, I do have a lovely assortment of dresses but my job isn't like that...they make fun of me when I dress up nice.
I am in a financial rut...I am spending $15 a day just on gas to drive to and from work, I am getting paid CRAP bc I took the job as an Assistant and a week later the person quit so I was promoted to running the whole program and still after 6 months, NO RAISE!!! I'm losing my cool...I have been offered several job opportunities offering to pay me $20-50k OVER what I make now, so clearly I am being underpaid. How do I bring that up to my boss? He is nice but I really do feel like I'm being used.

Jennifer I am beyond in love with that Treesje belt! I want one so badly! I've been belt crazy lately, and that one is just to die for, I want to get one like that for a dress i got.
So today the VS catalog came, and usually I can resist, but I saw that the dress I wanted was on sale, and I've been looking for a great white summery dress lately...then there was a top I couldn't resist either, I swear the word "sale" is a killer, even if its $9 I feel like I'm getting such a bargain so here's todays finds...I need to go to Gap and buy some more T's I fell in love with one I got sunday and want 2 or 3 more colors. The dress I ordered is not green, its all white. |
