    Default coach days

let see, I have never purchased a bag off of eBay that I have kept. We all know from my previous posts that I have some crappy experiences. Of course that was my fault being (at the time) unfashion designer educated.

ones i have sold - black mini signature coach bag for like $101 3 months after I purchased it for like $275. Retro Coach, I dont know where I got it, I think a friend purchased off of eBay and got sick of it but then I got sick of it and sold it on eBay for like $170.

Me too, I wanna get rid of my coach handbags because I felt like they're all the same and my heart changed and I don't like coach anymore.

Now, I like Kate Spade Handbags.:)

If I'm lucky and the timing is right, I've been able to snag a couple LVs (in good condition) for around $250-$300. :D

    I haven't sold anything...yet...

I was surfing ebay and I noticed a lot of sellers claimed their products are 100% authentic even they looked obviously fake. Is it illegal to put such statement when you are selling counterfeit products? I just don't understand why people can do that.

No one can guarentee authenticity. You're absolutely right, you can't state that the bags are authentic when they are not. Counterfeiting is a HUGE problem... and not enough is done about it. If you see a fake bag on ebay that is advertised as real then report it. Ebay will pull the listing. Anyone can say their bags are authentic, but it doesn't make it true. I sell stuff on ebay... but I never say "100% authentic or your money back" or anything like that. My items are authentic... but I simply state that they were purchased from authorized dealers (which they were). This helps assure people that the item is most-likely authentic. Although I guess I could just be saying that and its not really true either. Oh well...

I try to report all the time...unfortunately, some of the ones that I report never get pulled. Maybe it has to do with timing or how many people report the item. I just saw a mirror-image fake go for as much as $400...never got pulled. :o

The only way I would ever buy a bag off of ebay is if the person is My poupette certified... or the feedback has 100s of positive feedback that says the bag was authentic!

^I'd be careful with whomever I buy from. Buying from someone like mypoupette helps, but there are some MPRSellers who do sell mirror-image fakes...

Basically just do your homework, see if the person offers paypal and a money-back guarantee, and always, ALWAYS look at history (even at 99.8% positive, you still have to see why the seller got a neg in the first place).

Definately have to be wary out there - there are so many fakes and the fakers are getting better. Still haven't purchased a bag of ebay even though there are some great buys!!

I only buy from reputable sellers on ebay. Make sure they offer a money-back guarantee!
