Default Would you hire a designer bag?

Hello, I am doing an article for a fashion magazine about designer fashion bags and would like to know if girls would hire/rent a bag if they could not afford to buy?

These bags would be Chanel, Louis V, Prada etc. The price to hire would be around 110 - 160 per month for a bag costing around 2,300 in the shops.

Let me know your thoughts please :)). Have a bag competition to post soon.

Me personally, no. It just doesn't make financial sense to me. Btw, anyone know how much is it to rent the Hermes Birkin for a week on bagborroworsteal? I dont know the exact amount, but I know it's something insane.

I think it's a waste of money. If you buy the bag, you can always sell it. If it's something expensive and in high demand, you can usually get a decent amount back.

I, personally, wouldn't rent a handbag. I would rather save money to purchase a bag that I could keep, then sell if I ever grew tired of it.

I did rent a Chanel bag one time. It was nice to get to know the bag before making a purchasing decision plus it was a special occasion and I tried a color that I probably would not have bought.... Have'nt done so again tho.
