    Angry Michael Kors Customer Service SUCKS!!

    as some of you know, several weeks ago i go scammed by a hacker into buying a MK bag that i thought i was buying from their website but actually was a hacker website.

    I am still in the process of fighting the case with paypal. paypal believes in giving all the breaks to the fraud seller rather than a buyer who has proof they were cheated Also waiting to see if the Reg-E filed with the bank has comes through.

    In the meantime, i thought the 'real' Michael Kors website should know about this incident and it may help them tighten their online site's security. I called their customer service and spoke to a supervisor and the only thing she was interested in was my 'order no.' or 'are you buying a new bag'. It was like a bunch of greedy vultures....They were not interested in hearing anything that did not get them more money. The supervisor was a moron who kept telling me "write to customer service'.

    So i did. I send a long letter by snail mail to their Dallas office head of customer relations offering copies of all the fraud website's confirmations so they could use it to fix tehir website security if need be. Three weeks later, i have not even recd. an acknowledgement. Sent them an e-mail a few days back, asking them if they had any basic manners or courtesy...still no response.

    I always professed myself a big MK fan, but looks like that has reached it's end. Being an owner of multiple MK bags, watches, some clothes and other accessories, i must say i am disappointed in their total lack of courtesy. NO more MK stuff in my collection again. I am done.
    will buy some other label where customer service and courtesy are just as important as the hiked up prices on their designer duds.

    I totally can see how frustrated you must be. I really hope that you get your money back. Did they send you a bag? By the way, is the site "michaelkorsoutletssales.com"

    But besides writing you reply saying how sorry they are, I don't see how MichaelKors.com could be much help. The person that scammed you is probably running the website out of their basement for all we know - creating an online shop is easy. They just stole MK's images, logo and information.

    The most that MK.com could do is file a complaint with google to try and get the site removed. But that's about it.

    Again, I am so-so-so sorry FU!!

    Jenn, i don't even know what website i bought it from!!! The page it pulled up was from their website so i did not even spare a look at the web address bar

    And, no i did not get any communication from the seller after they took my money, far less a bag!

    I know it is not MK's fault and i don't think there is any reason for them to apologize. HOWEVER, what i do expect from MK, is a note saying they appreciate me giving them info that could help tighten their web security. I did not have to send them that info. but i did because i thought it might help prevent such a situation from happening to someone else. It is merely a matter of courtesy.

    I'm not sure what Michael Kors or their web security has to do with this. You purchased from a replica site, not MK.

    I would be more upset at paypal for not issuing you a refund

    I would be really upset with PayPal. They usually side with the buyer anyways, lol. Good luck!

    It has got everything to do with Mk site. If your web security is so crappy that it can be ripped off so easily, you need to step your game up and make it more secure.
    Once gain, i am not talking about Mk refunding me or anything. Merely acknowledging that they will up their site's security.

    Jenn, finally after almost a month, heard back from my bank and paypal TODAY. My bank yanked the funds back from paypal (i don't know how they did it), and then paypal posted on my acct. the 'funds retrieved'. They did not send me any update and the case file does not have any more info on it.

    In any case, glad i got my money back...phew. and i am still don't think MK's customer service is where it should be.
    The money for the Hamilton is now going to be redirected to a RM bag
