Thread: Handbag or iPad?

I haven't made it to the Apple store yet. The website doesn't though that I can tell. You click to shop ipads and they only show ipad 2's.

^^^ There aren't any cheaper iPads. I have searched everywhere.

What do u need more? We all WANT a new handbag but it depends on what you really need. If the iPad will help you with school the when you graduate you'll make enough money to buy all the handbags you want. I love my iPad 2 it's awesome!!

bRs, have you heard of the Kindle Fire? It is supposed to be released 11/15 and it looks like it is going to be nice.

I just saw this thread again. Z, I was just talking to Mr BRS about the Kindle Fire today. I want to check it out. It's only $200!

There's also the Nook Tablet. It's $249

We bought my son the Kindle Fire and he LOVES it!! I was looking for this thread to tell you that you might want to check it out.

Does it have text-to-talk capabilities? I was looking online and there seems to be some confusion about it. And what about PDF files? Have you tried to read one on there yet? There is supposed to be an App for it called EZ Pro Reader or something. People said that was the one that has the features I want (zooming in and highlighting). Maybe you could test it out for me? LOL!

You're still young, you have all your life ahead to get all the handbags in the world. My mother always taught me to buy neccessities and to learn to set my priorities, and as far as I'm concerned, a handbag would only be a fad.

Aw, you're so sweet to say I'm still young. Okay, I'm not that old but I feel old sometimes. I took my last birthday pretty hard. Oh well, at least there are people that are older than me in my classes. But that's normal for grad school, right?
Anyway, yes, I was wanting this for school. It's such a pain because professors like to send us all of our reading material in PDF form. That's why I wanted something that would make it easier. It's hard to read the PDF files on my netbook.
