Hey girls so I bought a dress on Friday for my birthday at Forever 21. I look at the Arden B website and found the same exact dress for $78 when I only paid $24. I always thought that Arden B has better quality clothes but I guess not. They just charge triple the price for the name! Opinions..........

F21 has been hit/miss for me lately. I've found some super cute tops for 15 bucks that looked great and worked well. Other clothes I purchased there were of AMAZINGLY poor quality and didn't even make it past the second wash.
So I'm going to say XXI is good for some items, and just ok for others. I wonder if the same shop in Vietnam who makes their clothes makes some ofthe Arden B line.

I love your dress, and look at it this way, you got a great deal! I wish I had the figure for it, myself! It's quite a nice little black dress, and I have yet to find one I like for myself.
I love this dress! I would totally know where I could wear something like this. The biggest problem I've had with dresses like this is the ruffles make me look wider. More power to you ladies who can pull this look off.

I think Arden B. does have slightly better quality - I've bought a few things from there on sale, and they always last longer than what I buy at Forever 21. Usually the things I buy from Forever 21 fall apart or get holes in them after just two or three uses, but maybe that's just me!

what I meant by this thread is that someone might think they're getting better quality by shopping at Arden B but they're not bc these people are getting the same items as F21 but putting a higher price tag on it and changing the inside tag. I think it's horrible!

Wow!!! I'm kind of shocked. I feel like Arden B has gone down in quality a bit over the last 2-3 years though, and it seems like their prices have dropped a bit now, they used to be really close to bebe's prices but the few trips I've taken into Arden B lately it seems things are a bit cheaper now. That is a cute dress though, and awesome that you got it at bargain price. F21 has had some cute stuff as of late.
