^^^ Nope, I can't stand that either. Also hate it when we're out somewhere nice to eat and people let their kids scream. Kinda hard to carry out a conversation, ya know?

That's probably my #1 pet peeve. What people let their children get away with is beyond me. It always seems that the parents are oblivious to their children's behavior and look at me as if to say, "Aren't they cute?" Uh, no. If looks could kill. What ever happened to; "Children should be seen and not heard?" I think that needs to make a comeback.
Back on the subject, I was really disappointed in their selection when I went back last Thursday, it was pretty much all crap. It didn't look like they got anything new in, but more like they just reorganized all the same stuff.

Re: What's at your local TJ Maxx / Marshall's?
I was actually there I think on Sunday, and they had Dooney and Bourke handbags, Nine West bags, Juicy Couture Bathing Suits, um, actually I found a cute Jansport backpack for myself just in case I wanted to use it for like camping.
I usually go there at random times, a lot of the time when I feel like there isn't anything better to do, or when I have my crazy mood swings where I'm all "Oh! Lets go to TJMaxx I really need to go and find a whatever bag."
I'm a happy camper,

Re: What's at your local TJ Maxx / Marshall's?
I went to Marshall's last night. They had nothing special (Express, Ralph Lauren, Ed Hardy, Liz Claiborne). But then I went to the shoe section. I didn't think I would find anything there until I spotted a pair of Stuart Weitzman Theta open-toe slingbacks in a shimmery cream patent... for $16.00! There was only one pair, and they were my size! I had to buy. I did buy. I still can't believe my luck. I don't know what season they're from, but the box still had a Macys return sticker on it! Made my day.

Re: What's at your local TJ Maxx / Marshall's?
I actually just went to Marshalls this morning and found some Velvet by Graham and Spencer tops that were really cute! I've also had some luck with shoes there recently-- I bought a pair of BCBGirls black patent heels that I absolutely love. Only I can't stand it when people run around with their gigantic shopping carts, blocking the aisles. Am I the only one who thinks that shopping carts and clothes shopping is not a good combination?

Re: What's at your local TJ Maxx / Marshall's?
I live in the UK, and my local TK maxx is a veritable gold mine! I live in the suburbs of a big town, and recently I've found
Valentino Cream Silk Drape top £34.99
Armani Black Drainpipe Jeans £15.99
Anne Klein Cashmere (LOADS of the stuff) £25-£35
So much Calvin Klein, it made my debit card ache.
I found a gorgeous prada wallet the other day and just had to buy it, it was only £35!
Although the crowning jewel of my Maxx finds was a Pucci Alessandro Vacation bag, and I practically dragged my fiance to the till and made him hand over the credit card!
He hates the place. He blames it for my general designer addiction!
