I agree with add1t. I take of 30% from my income and put it to permanent savings. I think it is too much when you withdraw even a single dollar from the permanent savings.

I'm glad you the love bag. I'm just curious, did you not know how much your mortgage is? Maybe you did and it just didn't occur to you that the cost of the bag was the same? Like everyone said, it's something you'll get years of use out of.

wow that is way too expensive i must say!!! IF YOU BUY the bag and your husband is paying for it then it is not ok of course. but if you have a job and earn better than him i dont think he will mind it.
