I recently bought the Vivienne Tam mini HP computer off of amazon.com. When I received the box on Thursday, the return address label said it was coming from Amazon's return center. I immediately called Amazon to see if my computer was in fact a return before I opened the seal on the box. The woman I spoke with said it was probably just a mistake they made printing out the label.
Just to be sure, I called HP customer support to see if the computer had been previously registered to anyone else. They assured me it hadn't, but I was still feeling like something was wrong. So I finally opened the box, which was sealed, and I could just tell that the power cord, battery, etc. had been re-placed in the box. Even the protective sticker on top of the computer looked like it had been re-applied because it was all smudgey and bubbly.
Then I opened the computer up and there were two giant scratches on the screen. So, back on the phone with Amazon. The woman I spoke with was really helpful and apologetic & she assured me I would get a new one sent out right away and when I received that one I will just have to put the first one I got into that box and send it back.
My expected delivery of the supposedly new one is May 28th. Hopefully it's new this time! I was so excited to open my new laptop & then I was so disappointed because it was used!

It's the worst feeling when you're all excited to receive something in the mail,
and when you finally get it, it's the wrong thing, or it's broken, and then you
have to go through the hassle of returning it, and then waiting again.......
Anyway, I'm sorry that happened to you vuittongirl, and hopefully you'll have
a new laptop very soon
I just know how you feel vuittongirl!! That shoe debacle I had with Amazon UK still infuriates me. Hope everything goes ok after this

I'm so sorry that happened, especially with something like a laptop! I always have terrible luck with Amazon - they either lose my order/it never comes, or it's wrong. I hope they straighten it out quickly for you!
Wow... that really sucks. I was wanting to get a new laptop but other things keep popping up. I'll know not to order anything from Amazon though. Sorry that this happened to you.

Yeah, I can't wait for it to come. I just received a book I purchased for school from the Amazon MP & the seller advertised it as new and guess what? Of course it was used! Amazon is not my friend lately lol.
