Hi,

I'm new here and to Foley & Corinna bags --I actually found this site after I found their listing on Gilt (OMG, I love Gilt)--and I was wondering which one of their bags you think is the most versatile. I love bags, and these ones seem super cute, but since I'm trying to cut back a bit right now (grad school is coming up) I need to find one that I can carry often. Can anyone help me? The sale is tomorrow, and based on some minor research online, I think that maybe the mid city is the best--any thoughts?

Hey itsjustducky,

I actually have a beige F&C mid city tote and it's amazing! I love how you can fold the top portion of the bag down when you don't wanna hang the entire purse! So I highly recommend you getting that purse! I was lucky, there was actually a sample sale a while back at the F&C store in LA, and I got two (a turquoise city tote and my beige mid city tote) for only $150 each!

I hate gilt. It doesn't matter if i try 1 minute after opening, everything is always in somebody's cart.

I'm guilty of that... when the sale started I had like 6 bags in my cart but slowly removed them.. the prices are okay, just not that amazing. These bags were marked around that price range over the holiday season, weren't they?

Well, I can understand doing that, but it's still frustrating to those of us who are evidently slow pokes. <sigh> I'm not sure what the prices were over the holidays. I saw a navy mid city on LB for 314 a few weeks ago, but it's gone now. I think I'm going to give up on sample sales. This is the third one I've tried and gotten nothing. I must need a new strategy.

I got one after all! Forget the stupid waitlist, it doesn't work real time. I just kept clicking on stuff and finally got a navy city clutch. I was hoping for a mid city, but that's ok. :D

I'm excited. :) I was hoping for brown or cream, something more springy. But the navy is really pretty, I've admired it before, and it's not super dark. I'm glad you think it's worth the teeth gnashing I went through to decide whether to get it or not. :D

I don't think you will regret it! Plus Navy will be a great year round color!!
