Ok, so yesterday the new Anthropologie catalog came in the mail and I saw these shoes:

Anyway, they look amazing on the 2 girls that are modeling them in the catalog, very fun (from the front at least) I love the look from the front view.But once I saw what was going on towards the back and sides I got REALLY skeptical. Number 1 they aren't platform (my weapon of choice when it comes to great shoes and comfort) and I'm just not sure all around. I'm really into red everything lately. But I'm so up in the air with these!!! Help me out!

Update on these shoes. I wore these today...and OH MY GOD. My feet hurt like hell!! The back of my right foot kept rubbing on these shoes. I would NOT get them, lol.

Jess - The Delia's shoes are okay... but it seems like they have one too many ankle straps, you know what I mean? If they didn't have that top strap, then they would look better. I like the gladiator sandals in general anyway.

^ i say nay, but a lot of shoe designers are trying to make that style happen right now, the whole extra huge piece of fabric covering the top of the foot, in at least 2 shoe catalogs recently I've seen a good 4+ pairs of shoes in this style, not too sure about them
