^^ Well I have been trying to control myself as too (or maybe I should say that they husband has me on a tight budget. For good reasons though. Job is uncertain nowadays) but I love shoes a lot!!! Hopefully you get them on Saturday. I would love to see them!!

I would like opinions on these shoes.

Is something like this getting too outrageous (height wise) or is this something trendy for 2009?

Personally I'm tempted, but I don't want too look too provocative. Thoughts?

I suppose it would depend on the outfit. I mean with a super short skirt and a low cut blouse, it could look quite provocative. If you chose a tasteful outfit, I think they would be fine. I love them!

Most likely a pair of skinny jeans with a cute top. I try to balance it out.

I guess I'm more concerned of these shoes looking 'stripper-ish' no matter what type of outfit I wear with them.

^^I like them but they do have that stripper-ish look to me. Probably because the platform is too high. I like the colors and the pattern on them though a lot.

I like these and with a tasteful not provacative outfit, they would be good. If it was a little wild, it wouldn't look too nice....... :erm:

A follow up on these...

I received them in the mail after pre-ordering them from Steve Madden. I was very excited to get them and even paid for expedited shipping. <sigh> Bad news...I'm pretty disappointed in the quality of the materials. The snakeskin and leather looks pretty 'cheap' and the stitching was done poorly. The fit runs pretty true, but overall they were not a $150+ shoe. I'm returning them and looking for a different pair.
