I've been looking at boots all night! Why? Well, I was going to school last week right after it snowed and they didn't have the walkways cleared off yet... and do you know what I realized? Strange as it sounds, but I haven't had any boots for years! LOL! And it snows here all the time... but I guess I hadn't needed to tromp through the snow of quite awhile.
Anyway, I want a pair of boots that are:
1. Warm and water proof
2. Cute and can go with jeans
3. Are functional... sorry, but I'd probably fall on my butt if I was trying to walk throw snow in high-heels
Any suggestions?
I was looking at these Sam Edelman boots on Zappos... but I'm wondering if they are a little too wild:

The light colored Ugg you mentioned comes in tan, dark brown, and black too. I don't think I would get it in the light color, that was just the color pictured.
How's this:
I actually love UGGs when it is cold or snowing. They might be ugg-ly but they are super warm and comfy and keep your toes toasty. I would def. go with a darker color. The light ones are too difficult to keep clean.

hey brs, those boots are kindof cool for snow-wear. i know I've said before that I'm not a fan of uggs, well I dont like the classic pair (that everyone has - went through that faze in highschool ), but I like those pairs that you posted. come to think of it, when i was going to school over in central washington they were perfect for snow and so warm (snowed like 2-5 feet per year), plus don't be embarrassed their alot cuter than other winter-boots out in the market.
Thanks Jennifer! I was kinda bummed about them being sold out of the one the other girls picked out. Well... I guess I can't say they were completely sold out. LOL! They did have a size 11 left. I just liked how they laced up the side and had the cute little button things. It says they are still available on the store's website... but I don't know if I want to risk buying them, having them shipped, and then they not looking the way I had wanted them to. I wish I could have tried them on in the store.
I say as long as you wear them, their great! I bought furry boots a while back too, I was really wanting some UGGS, but I was a bit low on cash... I got some other brand at Dillrds... I think thier cute... they're different, and not commonly seen around!
bRs- Do you like how they feel on your feet? I had a pair like the ones you bought and they didn't feel right around my toes. I bought them about 3 years ago so maybe they have perfected them by now.
