    Minnetonka Kilty Driving Moccasins

When I was in grade school, I found a pair of suede moccasins in my mom's closet. They were from my mom's hippie days and, of course, I thought they were the coolest thing ever. I remember slipping them on my feet. They were big on me, but they felt SO good! I begged her to let me wear them to school the next day and she finally agreed. Boy was I proud wearing those babies... well, until I ruined them by stepping in a rather large rain puddle. Oops! Despite the bad part at the end, this is still one of my fondest childhood memories. So when I stumbled across these Minnetonka Kilty Driving Moccasins, I couldn't help but smile. But would I dare wear a pair of moccasins now? At first, I thought no way. But then I tried them on and I found myself falling in love! Unlike tradition moccasins, Minnetonka brand moccasins feature cushioned leather insoles and a rubber nub bottom. Now I'm not suggesting that I would wear these while out on the town, but I think they would be super cute footwear for around the house or while running some quick errands.

I'm really craving a pair of these. They look so comfortable, and like as you suggested perfect for errands and roaming around the house!

They are very popular here in Michigan. You see this brand in every quaint leather goods store.

Personally, while they are comfy...i hate the look

I wouldn't wear them in the city, but maybe just for lounging around the house.

I used to always get a pair of these when we would go to the Smokey Mountains. Then I would get home and never really wear them.
    BTW, they were/are REALLY comfy!

I had some moccasins about 2 years ago... they were pre-trendy I guess then. I feel like they're kind of out now.
