    Default Christian Louboutin Flat Espadrille

Christian Louboutin is known for his amazing shoes. Whether they're sky high, or tastefully low, every pair is made for quality and beauty. If you're in love with Louboutin as much as I am, then what about these amazing sandals for summer? It's a way to wear your favorite brand without having to dress up, or walk uncomfortably.

The Flat Espadrille comes in three colors - tan, gray, and black. Don't worry, these still have the amazing red sole! These are available for $445 through Bergdorf's, and other high end department stores.

    Details:

    • Natural calf leather.
    • Crisscross strap detail.
    • Brass hardware.
    • Two buckled at ankle straps.
    • Ivory rope trim along sole.
    • Flat heel.
    • Signature red sole.
    • Made in Spain

So how do you feel about these ladies? I personally love the gray!

    Pretty, but nothing innovative.

This design has been produced by almost any and every low to high end shoe designer.

Ok, I've got a question for you two, since you are my fashion diva sounding board. I have seen Espadrill and flat Louboutin's in the store, at a reasonable (sub $500) level, however...because of the flat sole, you cannot see the red bottoms. My thought is....why get Louboutins if you can't see the red bottoms? I mean...for me...and this is just my opinion, why would I spend money on a shoe that looks like a pair half the price, unless you see that beautiful red sole? Am I crazy for thinking that?

If you like Urban Outfitters of Athropologie, they have a similar look for less sandal out. Obviously not the same quality, but the same look.

I tottaly agree with you Stella.

When i spend money on a designer piece i want it to look the part. Almost all designer items (bags, shoes etc.) are re-created for cheaper lines. If the designer item does not stand out, i would not care to spend that kind of money on it.

ITA, especially with that line I underlined. So you're not crazy....or we both are! I would only buy some Louboutin heels (if I could afford them!) and not flats, espadrilles or wedges. I think you can find easily find affordable alternatives for just about any shoe, except that red sole.

    My thought is this -
are you not wanting these because other people won't know you have the red sole? For me it's not that big of a deal. Knowing that I have them and that they're great quality is good enough for me.

I totally know what you guys are saying though. You can get these in similar styles for less.

From my experience, my Louboutins are not the most comfortable pair of shoes in my closet, BUT...knowing that I'm wearing something very exclusive and being able to see the red soles when I catch my reflection in the mirror does make wearing them much more tolorable. Of course I love when I get the complements from someone who says "oh I love your shoes"

If I can find this shoe, in a lower price...and no one can tell a difference...I'm going to opt to go for the less expensive shoe.

Yep, not very comfortable. I only have one pair of Loubs so it's not like I can compare. Seeing the red sole is more for my personal satisfaction because few people in this city will even know that they are CLs. I'll admit there was a time when I cared what other people thought but that has long passed. I only care about how clothes/shoes/bags make ME feel when I wear them. Of course, it IS nice when people compliment your choices. It doesn't have to be designer for me (in fact, most of my stuff isn't) but when it comes to CL, I love that red sole!
