    I think if you work in customer service, flip flops is definitely a no no. Having said that, people wear flip flops everywhere here, even at work sometimes. In ad agencies, a lot people wear flip flops in the office unless there's a client meeting.

    Flip flops don't really bother me. I would rather see them than Crocs.
    I guess I wouldn't want my doctor wearing them though.

    That's totally unprofessional for Macy's. The only time I could imagine a self-respecting person wearing flip flops to work is, if they were leather, designer, nice, etc.

    Nope, I don't think that it looks professional. There are exceptions to the rule depending on where you work ie beach, flip flop designer etc
    I'm not allowed anyway, I think my patients or to put it more accurately, their family would not be too happy...

    ew that seems weird that she would wear those to work. not only does it make macys look bad but it makes her look bad as a sales person.
