Recently, the Rebecca Minkoff Nikki Hobo has been spotted on the arms of many celebrities. This includes Vanessa Minnillo, who was photographed some time ago with this handbag in yellow. Personally, I find the Rebecca Minkoff Nikki Hobo to be quite attractive. The slouchy style is just perfect for everyday use. Plus I think the clips on the sides add a unique finishing touch. But there is something that I dislike about this handbag -- its size! The Nikki Hobo is just enormous. And personally, I prefer a smaller handbag. But there is good news (at least for me anyway). Yep, you guessed it! The Rebecca Minkoff Nikki Hobo is now available in mini size! And if you know anything about Rebecca Minkoff, it's that her "mini" styles aren't exactly mini. Instead, they end up being just the right size! Don't believe me? Just compare Vanessa's bag with the Mini Nikki Hobo pictured on the right. See... it's just the right size, isn't it?

I'm torn. I love that yellow one but I would never buy it because really, would I ever wear it?

I the Nikki, but I prefer the larger size. The mini is a good size, but I think it's too small for me.

how come on Rebeccaminkoff.com the dimensions are listed as 13 x10.5 x 3. Why are they diff.? Which is the rt. measurement?

not sure on this one but the widest point of the mini looks a little longer than 13 inches -- Luna Boston might be correct?

^^ the one Vanessa Minillo is carrying is actually the regular sized Nikki (bRs's post uses it as a comparison to the mini on the right)

OMG, the Rebecca Minkoff website does say that the bag is 13" x 10". How weird, I was going off of what Luna Boston had for measurements. Anyway, yeah the yellow one pictured is the regular sized Nikki. It measures 19" x 15", which by my standards is huge. LOL! I showed that picture so you could see the difference in size. But I think the mini Nikki is just perfect in size. :wub:

^ i think the Rebecca Minkoff site is wrong. on the lookbook in the other thread, it says 15 x 12

So the mini is 15" x 12"? That's what I would have guessed when I looked at it in the store. I think that is plenty big, myself. ::shrugs::

I love the Mini Nikki. I think the size is fine, and am looking at buying one in Deep Red.
