For me, the mini nikki is too small  (I carry a lot of stuff in my bag, and I'm used to carrying bigger bags b/c I think they look better on me). Then again, my sister is a bit smaller and shorter than I am (I'm 5'7 and she's 5'2), and I think that the mini would be perfect for her.  I guess it's just a personal choice that depends on your stature and how much stuff you carry.
