    Okay, I'm just going to come out and say it... I LOVE REBECCA MINKOFF HANDBAGS! And I am absolutely dying to get my hands on one right now! Surprisingly, I was not introduced to this designer by catching a glimpse of the Morning After Bag or the Nikki. Nope, the very first Rebecca Minkoff bag I ever laid eyes on was the Matinee. And although this style has been MIA for quite some time, it is still one of my favorites. The only problem is that it always seemed like it was just a tad too big for my liking (especially as a handheld). So when fellow TBF'er shootingstarluma mentioned she had pre-ordered the new Rebecca Minkoff MINI Matinee, I practically fell over in my chair! It wasn't long before this beauty made its way onto my wish list. Hmm, I really hope my husband is reading this!

    The Rebecca Minkoff Mini Matinee has all of the same great features as the full-sized original. The suede-backed flaps covering the side pockets are so cute and I love how you can change the look of the bag simply by flipping them up or down. And the little tassels hanging from each zipper pull? Well, you ladies already know how much I love tassels! And the leather? Oh my gosh, don't get me started on how gorgeous it looks! The bag measures 14" x 7" x 6", which is just about the ideal size for me. It is the perfect size for carrying your everyday essentials.



    The Rebecca Minkoff Mini Matinee is being offered exclusively at Luna Boston! It is currently available (for pre-order) in Vintage Violet or Vintage Dark Gray.

    Default RM Mini Matinee

    I don't know about you gals, but I am soooo exicited about the introduction of the Mini Matinee!





    I have always loved the look of the regular sized Matinee, but it is just too big and boxy for me to carry. Finally there is a smaller version making its debut in the Spring 2010 collection! This Mini Mattie measures 14"w x 7"h x 6"d, so it is a comparable size to the MAM. This fabulous little bag boasts about 10 total pockets inside and out. Yes, 10! There are 4 exterior zip pockets, 2 exterior slip pockets, 3 inner pouch pockets, and a inner zip pocket. Of course the deal maker for me are the unique pull-back flaps on each end of the bag. I think it gives a nice suprise pop of detail without being overdone. Currently the Mini Matinee is only available through pre-order in Vintage Violet w/ matching suede Flaps (shown above) or Vintage Grey w/ matching grey flaps at Luna Boston . I am expecting that we will see more colors and combinations as we move into spring.
    Retails for $565.

    I am really loving the mini Matinee, and the Vintage Purple looks so beautiful. I am definitely tempted.

    The color is pretty gorgeous. And I love the style, just not crazy about the mini part.

    I love mine! I actually have 2! Jennifer don't let the mini part fool you, it's way roomy... Just not so huge as the original....
