Lavender is a complicated color to describe. It is definitely not like the purple tinged traditional lavender color, rather it is a medium toned beige with very subtle brown and purple undertones. I know it may seem odd but when I look at this bag, I think of the famous MAC spice lip liner which is revered for its versatility and ability to look good with nearly any type of makeup look. MAC Spice, and the Lavender MAM are not overtly stunning vibrant hues that punctuate a look, rather they are colors that blend a look together and bring a polished and finished look, if that makes any sense.
Back in the day, I was all about straight up jewel tones; red, blue, green, purples. I wanted a pop of color against my clothing; something that stood out. Recently I realized that I had a lot of these "stand out" bags but not a whole lot of bags that would essentially go with pretty much anything....and I feel the Lavender MAM is one such bag that does.
What do you think? Honest opinions are appreciated =)
If you dont like it, please tell me

It looks more like a "Dusty Mauve" to me. It's not a color I could see myself carrying. I might like it better in a smaller accessory or a MAC.W I S H ♥ L I S T
Loving my collection!

That is Lavender?
Personally the color is a bit too dull for my taste. The leather looks gorgeous (as in all MAM's) but the color is too washed out looking for my taste...."You never know how strong you are, until being strong is the only choice you have."

I agree with it looking more like Mauve, regardless, I like the color. It's something I would wear.
