Just got back from a fab weekend in Chicago. Got to stay in the heart of downtown at State and Ohio Street on the 44th floor of a high rise condo (a friend's :-). Visited all the great shops on the Magnificent Mile. Went to the Coach store and fell totally in love with the Bonnie tote in aqua blue
Also, visited the LV store at Saks and got to see the new colors: the blue one looks awesome, the gray-brown one is pretty drab. saw a gorgeous charm at the LV store. the SA told me it was $385 for the charm alone My DH dragged me out of the store

I filled out the FAFSA and they said I wasnt able to get a pell grant but I may be able to get other grants? Im really confused by this whole process! If you have an suggestions where to go from here Id love to hear more! My parents arent paying for school so its all up to me to figure out a way. proving to be very frusterating

I applied for financial aid every year, never qualified for anything until I got married. I wasn't poor before I got married, but I was poor afterward... go figure. My parents made too much money and even after I turned 24 (the age where your parents aren't included anymore) I still didn't qualify. I feel for you because it was very frustrating. I think the other grants that the website is referring to are private grants provided by schools. Like my school offers grants to people based on their financial need. The only way you'll know is if you apply to schools and see if they offer you anything. You still have to send your FAFSA form to them though. I'm probably not the best person to be asking about those scholarships that anyone can apply for. I spent so much time writing essays for those stupid things and I never won anything. Hehe... but maybe you're a better writer than me. What are you wanting to major in?

^^^^ lol I thought I was the only one in this boat! Ive written for scholarships but no luck! I wanna hopefully major in graphic design. Id love to someday work in advertising of some sort or somthing. idk well see where it takes me
