Question How should an authentic Miu Miu smell?

Hey there,

I've been lingering a while and now I actually have a question. I bought my first Miu Miu from Ebay and I don't normally buy my first of any designer from Ebay.

My gut felt fine about it but it has a very strong smell. It reminds me of chemicals or paint thinner. It could be the chemicals used to tan the leather I suppose but it this normal?

Other designer bags I have certainly have a distinct smell but I know they are real. This Miu Miu I'm wondering about.

Could you help? Thanks in advance!

I only have one, the suede coffer bag, but it was bought new and smells like sueded only. I have bought used before and had a bag smell like smoke, but never what you are saying.

Also, if you bought it from a seller like Let-Trade, beware of the moth-ball smell! LOL! Don't get me wrong, Let-Trade has great stuff... but it takes forever to get the smell out.

I don't know which is worse, moth ball or new car smell.

Moth Ball. New Car smell is nice because it means you have something new.

did you ask the model of that bag before you bought it? you should ask the model of that bag before you bought it and make a research about it.
