  The sling messenger bag has been very popular with the younger girls recently. Well, at least where I live they have been. I hadn't paid much attention to them since they were not a style that would interest me. Especially since they tend to be inexpensive and constructed of fabric. I'm sorry, but even if I was into the whole Boho-Chic thing, I wouldn't dream of spending that amount of money on such an overly simple bag. Certainly one could find a similar bag for much less money. And then they wouldn't feel so bad when this trend is laid to rest. The Halston Zai Messenger Bag is unstructured and oversized. It measures 11" x 13" x 12" and has a 15" strap drop. Inside you'll find a matching suede pouch, perfect from keeping your little things from getting lost in the abyss. I've seen several suede hobo bags that I thought wee dreamy. My concern, and the reason I won't buy one, is the fear that the coloring will rub off on my clothing.
