The sling messenger bag has been very popular with the younger girls recently. Well, at least where I live they have been. I hadn't paid much attention to them since they were not a style that would interest me. Especially since they tend to be inexpensive and constructed of fabric. Well I was browsing around on the Net-A-Porter website today and I stumbled across this bag. Meet the Halston Zai Messenger Bag. The bag is made of brown suede and it looks as though a good deal of care is put into the bag's construction. When I first saw this bag, I was thinking it would compliment a Boho-Chic look nicely. But then I saw the price tag and I was floored! This is a bag that resembles a potato sack and yet it retails for nearly $2,500. I'm sorry, but even if I was into the whole Boho-Chic thing, I wouldn't dream of spending that amount of money on such an overly simple bag. Certainly one could find a similar bag for much less money. And then they wouldn't feel so bad when this trend is laid to rest.

I would not spend $2500 on that bag

I've seen several suede hobo bags that I thought wee dreamy. My concern, and the reason I won't buy one, is the fear that the coloring will rub off on my clothing.

I don't think I would pay $100 for that bag, nevermind $2500!

I the whole outfit!! I wouldn't pay $2500 for that bag though!
