The sling messenger bag has been very popular with the younger girls recently. Well, at least where I live they have been. I hadn't paid much attention to them since they were not a style that would interest me. Especially since they tend to be inexpensive and constructed of fabric. I'm sorry, but even if I was into the whole Boho-Chic thing, I wouldn't dream of spending that amount of money on such an overly simple bag. Certainly one could find a similar bag for much less money. And then they wouldn't feel so bad when this trend is laid to rest.

I've seen several suede hobo bags that I thought wee dreamy. My concern, and the reason I won't buy one, is the fear that the coloring will rub off on my clothing.
