Default GAP Leather Satchel

I think every Bagista is a fan of the convertible bag, well, at least I am. What’s not to love about those handbag-by-day, large-clutch-by-night pieces? As we all know a numerous amount of designers have released their own versions of the style, including Foley & Corinna, Miu Miu and Coach. Look who else is following the trend, the great American brand GAP has released yet another version of the fold over bag. It’s leather, vintage-y, and cute. I like how its look is clean and not busy, making it suitable for the office or to dress down. Roomy interior slots and one large exterior pocket can also be found on this satchel. In regards to the leather body, I can’t really say much about its durability since I’ve never owned a leather Gap bag, but its texture does look decent. If your willing to try the style, but splurging on a designer piece isn’t an option, why not give Gap’s version a chance? You can find this bag with a decent price tag of $150 in Brown or True Black. Ladies, what’s your input on this bag? Do any of you Bagista’s own a leather Gap bag?

Shop Online, now: Gap

That's cute. I like it. I wonder what the leather feels like.

Does it look a bit like an F+C tote or is it just me?

^^ Yeah, JHM it does.

I like it! I think the price is great for someone who doesn't want to spend $400+ for a Foley + Corinna! I convertible bags, they are so handy!

Has anyone ever used a GAP leather bag? If so, how well do they wear?

Great blog Viva!!

I like it too. I have never owned a gap purse either so I have no idea how they wear.
