Alexis Hudson designs tote to benefit Democratic Party

FWD:
A Real Statement Bag
Alexis Hudson designs tote to benefit Democratic Party
(NEW YORK) Sick of all the political hullabaloo yet? Handbag designers Rachelle Copeland and Emily Ironi of Alexis Hudson certainly aren't. The pair teamed up with Los Angeles artist Greg Miller to create the Change bag to raise funds for the Democratic party. "The Change bag is designed for everyone who believes in hope, change and the Democratic party," said Copland. "It's a real statement piece!" Ten percent of proceeds from the sale of the bag will support either Clinton or Obama's race against John McCain. The bag will be available at alexishudsoninc.com for $95 in the next two weeks.

Re: Alexis Hudson designs tote to benefit Democratic Party
Well, that's another designer I won't buy from in the future. These designers and actors need to keep their views to themselves. If I want a dissertation on politics I'll tune into someone who actually knows what they are talking about.

I choose to keep my Political Party to myself as I do my Religion and other things that People tend to get very defensive about as I get defensive myself when I feel someone is putting my beliefs down. Love the bag!

I think it's cute. Just because I don't discuss my personal beliefs doesn't mean I can't think a bag is cute.

Re: Alexis Hudson designs tote to benefit Democratic Party
Here's some more information on this bag.
email news:Alexis Hudson handbag creators, Rachelle Copeland and Emily Ironi, have collaborated with local Los Angeles artist Greg Miller to design artwork for the inspiring "Change" bag.
Created in support of the Democratic Party, the "Change" bag embodies the creator's vision of the future. "Making beautiful bags is important, but having a healthy planet, economy and society is critical That's why we decided to get involved and support the democratic campaign," states Emily Ironi.
"The 'Change' bag is designed for everyone who believes in hope, change and the Democratic Party, it's a statement bag," adds co-creator Rachelle Copland. Rachelle and Emily selected Greg Miller because of his creative sensibility and originality, his unique art matched Alexis Hudson's styling. "As a painter and filmmaker I love the use of fashion as an open canvas for stimulating change of perception.
I strongly believe that at this time in our country the relationship of art and fashion can come together as a visual tool for raising the political awareness of the public," says Greg Miller.
