Diane von Furstenberg is truely the queen of wrap dresses --(well, technically ex-Princess, by marriage to Prince Egon von Furstenberg. When she was 18, she met Prince Egon of Furstenberg, the elder son of a German prince and his first wife, an heiress to the Fiat automotive fortune. Married in 1969 and divorced three years later)-- She has been making the iconic wrap for over 35 years with a strong follow. Now as she expands into the designer handbag market, she keeps her signature touch, the wrap-technique.

This bag is an instant hit. The bag is dressed in a sky blue tone leather with wrap detailing and accessorized with light pale gold hardware. It's large, but not too large where you'll spend wasteful minutes digging through to find your wallet, or need to use a designer flashlight. This blue beauty measures 19.5" width x 14" height x 6" depth. Also what's really cool is the shouldstrap drops 10" so to fit comfortably on the shoulder, even if you are wearing a spring jacket. The color is very pretty and I like the shape of the bag...just don't like how it doesn't zip. But you can't beat that price!

I like the color but wouldn't pay the price. I only pay that much for classics. And that color isn't a classic color.

Hey Jen, looks like Diane von Furstenberg will be at Gilt on Tuesday (the 25th). Think there will be any bags? Or just clothes?

brs, i imagine it will just be clothes since she doesn't have many bag styles out there.. although im not entirely sure
