![]() Betseyville by Betsey Johnson 'Call Me, Betsey' Phone Satchel For designer Betsey Johnson's latest Spring accessory season, she released this 'Call Me, Betsey' Phone Satchel. Breathing to life the infamous 1970’s Telephone novelty bag, but in a more cartoon-ish colored rendition. Sorry guys, but unlike the 70’s novelty phone which could call out from any source by plugging in to any jack, this Betsey telephone bag is just your basic novelty purse. But hey, that’s what cellphones are for. It should be no surprise (since I broadcast it everytime I speak about BJ,) I find Betsey Johnson's designs to be either a hit or a total miss. Her bags are definitely bold and eye-catching, but no way would I carry such a bag. Tell me what you guys think of this Betsey Johnson ‘Call Me’ phone bag. Or Betsey Johnson designs in general. Discover at Nordstrom $65

It'd be great for a 12 year old girl. But I would NEVER carry it. Honestly, many of BJ's bag are tacky in my opinion. And this one is within the top of the list...

Viva - i love that bag too. it's definitely not your average Betsey bag. it's only $275, which isn't bad at all! |

Not a fan of the phone bag, but I've never been big on things that look like other things. And who uses a rotary phone nowadays? Maybe if the bag was shaped like a Sidekick...
![]() I think Betsey herself is fabulous, though. Love how she's like 60 yrs old and can still do a cartwheel! I'm in my 20s and I can't do one ![]() |

oh wow! I love that brown betseyville bag! I just thought she made all the tackier bags with all the charms and multi prints...etc. I agree, most her bags are for the teens.....just not classy in my eyes.

I think it's cute for child, but I not would be caught dead with it. Not classy enough for me. But she does have other bags that I would consider wearing.

It's kind of cute, but it's still a total and complete miss. I might be a teenager, but i wouldn't be caught dead with that. I've never been a big fan of her designs. You're totally right bRs it does look like a dog toy. In fact if it was, i'd buy it for my dog, as long as it wasn't too expensive. She'd love chewing it to bits and pieces, that's what she does with all her dog toys.
