So, after a traumatic Dr's appointment I had on Monday,

my reward was this Michael Kors Astor Large Satchel in Luggage. I like the bag just fine, and it has great compartments to keep me organized, but I am not sure if I want to keep it or not. I was thinking I could exchange it for a MbMJ bag or some credit toward the David Yurman ring I have been wanting. I would really like to hear some suggestions on what you think I should do? TIA!

My opinion is probably going to be different from everyone else.. but I would trade it in. Just because I was totally obsessing over it for the last year and when I finally got it, it just sat in my closet. So I got rid of it as well as my pewter version.

Thanks for your honesty Jennifer. So would you go for a MbMJ bag or put the $300 toward the Yurman ring? I will have a $300 credit @ Von Maur...

Hmmm. I wonder why they were not marked down @ Von Maur?

I like my MK astor, but it's not an everyday bag to me since it's handheld. I do love all of the room and compartments it has.

::shrugs:: Who knows... Von Maur never seems to have the same things marked down as other stores. Sorry, didn't mean to freak out on you or anything.
Um... I would say return the bag and get a Marc by Marc. I like mine!

The leather is all smooshy on mine... and its all "vintage" feeling. Plus the shoulder straps on those bags are awesome!

Ok... HOnestly.... I am a fan of the MK Astor bag... but i'm not feeling the color choice. I like it a lot more in pewter and in black.... Would you use it constantly? It is a large satchel.... or do you think it will just take up space in your closet??!

So I went to Von Maur today...
I tried a lot of different bags. I could not decide on anything. Why is that?? I found a Hayden Harnett bag that I really did like but I haven't decided on anything yet. The leather feels GREAT on these bags!!

So did you ever decide what to get? I still say a Marc by Marc bag... but that's just me.

No, I still have not decided on what to get. I did take the bag back...so now I have a credit of $300+ tax. I tried a lot of bags but could not decide. Why is that? If I didn't have any $$ to spend I would have found lots of things that I wanted...

Yep, that's usually how it goes.

Whenever I get gift cards, I can never find anything to buy... its only when I don't have any money do I find unbelievable buys! LOL!
