Hi, I'm new to the forum, this is my first post. Forgive me if this has been discussed.

I have a beautiful Gryson Jasper bag that I got on sale at Barney's Co Op. in Austin. It is white, and I really love it.

Is a white bag OK for winter? It's still hot in TX at this time of year but I don't want to be a doofus carrying the wrong color.

What do ya'll think?

Winter whites are great! Especially if the bag isn't a "true" white... you know, a little off white so it looks a little warmer. I was thinking about getting a white coat this year.... but I'm still debating. I say go for it! There's no rule about "no white after labor day" any more.

Thanks boysRsmelly! You have put my mind at ease. It is a beautiful off white color, not a true white at all. I don't think I would buy a purse or shoes that were true white. Unless it was a Birkin, I would take that in any color I could get my hands on..

I love that bag. its beautiful and such a great choice. . . nothing is wrong with wearing white during the winter....

Thanks everyone! I love this bag so much. I would say that I am about this bag the way most males are about their "dream cars." This is the first high end bag I've ever had and I didn't know how much I would love it!

you wont be sorry.. gryson bags are fabulous, especially the one that you got - the straps, multiple pockets, white (all season!).. it's perfect. congrats on your first highend bag

Thank you! I am not sorry one bit. Even my husband was impressed with how nice it is. The inside is as nice as the outside. It is such a beautiful bag!
