Sara Battaglia Fringed Leather Tote
Sara Battaglia Boho Chic Fringe Tote.jpg
I stumbled upon something today and I can't seem to shake it from my mind. It isn't too often that a relatively simple handbag catches my eye. What can I say? I like fun and vibrant pieces. But there is something different about the Sara Battaglia Fringed Leather Tote. I don't know what it is for sure and the answer seems to elude me. When I look at this bag though, something about it just calls to me.
I don't know much about Sara Battaglia and the official website does not offer up much background information. She is fairly young and her handbag collection was only launched 5 short years ago. Her designs are inspired by pop culture and, of course, her creative family. According to her bio, her older brother was an art dealer, her sister is a fashion editor, her younger brother is a prop stylist and her mother was/is a sculptor. How could she not find inspiration when surrounded with so much artistic talent? But this is where the trail runs cold. I really don't know much more about her, except she creates some of the most exquisite handbags I have seen. And the fact that she seems partial to fringe and tassels doesn't hurt either!
Available at Saks Fifth Avenue.
