Benedetta Bruzziches Carmen Fringed Leather Bag
Benedetta Bruzziches Carmen Fringed Leather Bag.jpg
There are quilted handbags and there are fringed handbags. Never before have I seen a handbag with both! But this one does and I have to say, the look is quite interesting. The quilting isn't what I would call traditional quilting though. The leather is gathered at various points and secured with a round button-like stitch. In fact, it sort of reminds me of a leather chair. Not in a bad way though! Accompanying the quilting is a tuft of fringe attached vertically on each side of the bag, which resemble "tails" more than the traditional "curtain". And do you see that little splash of color in there? The fringe has some metallic blue pieces in it. So pretty! This unusual combination makes for a great piece to mix things up a bit.

I know, it reminds me of leather furniture, but that is not a bad thing at all. I love the look.
