I know these designs are pretty out of place among the Louis Vuittons and Hermes bags we usually discuss here, but I just discovered them recently and something about them is attractive to me.
Anyone familiar with Harajuku Lovers? Looks kind of like Paul Frank, but I think much prettier. (I've always hated that scary looking Paul Frank monkey.) Named for the street style in Harajuku, Tokyo, this line has something to do with Gwen Stefani, but I'm not sure what. I understand she had a tour of the same name. Did she design it? Does she help advertise it? Did she inspire it? I've read the line was made to target her fans. Ironically, I suppose, I am not a fan of hers. I am a fan of Japanese street fashion.
