Lodis Synergy Lysette Satchel

I love Lodis accessories! They make the cutest small leather goods and they are so practical too! I especially love their framed clutch wallets, they make switching your things from one bag to the next a snap! But today, I was surprised to learn that Lodis also makes handbags. Handbags? Really? Yep! And here's your proof... introducing the Lodis Synergy Lysette Satchel! Oddly enough though, this bag looks nothing like the small leather goods I have come to know and love from this brand. If I had not seen who this bag was made by, I would have sworn it was by Olivia Harris (Joy Gryson's more "affordable" handbag line). Not that that is a bad thing, it was just very surprising for me. Once the initial shock had worn off though, I found that the bag was beginning to grow on me. The shrunken leather gives this bag such a nice "broken in" look, as if you had been carrying it for many years. It's a casual bag that would look great paired with jeans. I love the overall shape of the bag, but I feel like it wouldn't be very appropriate as a shoulder bag. The straps would be too short if you were wearing something bulky, like a coat. In this case, I definitely think this was meant to be a satchel.

I was so surprised that this bag is by Lodis. I agree though, the leather does look nice and squishy.
