Ikat Boho Sacks
You know... I had thought canvas boho sacks were dead and gone. But recently, I have been seeing them floating around town and they seem to be gaining popularity with the younger crowd again. When it comes to handbags in general though, I am more of a leather gal. But these Ikat Boho Sacks that I found over at Free People are so darn cute, I just might stray away from my typical preferences. Perhaps not as an everyday handbag though. I was thinking more along the lines of a beach bag or shopping tote. I love the bucket shape and the wooden bead detailing. And I really like all the different colors the Ikat Boho Sack comes in! I am especially drawn to the red, white, and light blue bag shown in the picture above (second one from the right).
It would be perfect for a day of fun in the sun on the Fourth of July! But the best news is that these cute sacks retail for only $68 each. And for that price, you might find yourself wanting to buy more than one! So maybe one for the beach AND one for use as a shopping tote?

Cute. Ikat prints originate from India. they are traditional style of printing from one of the states. I used to have such totes as my school carry all because they were so cheap!
reminds me of good ol' days. Would not consider them fashion though
