Thread: Bargain Buy: BCBGMAXAZRIA Leather Frame Top Satchel

One of the latest handbags to hit my collection (besides a Louis for Louis trade with a fellow tBFer) caught my eye from a sales shelf. All bagista’s can relate when I say that buying a great bag on mega sale practically makes your day, just hope there’s not bundles of duplicates or else it’s not as enticing. The BCBGMAXAZRIA Leather Frame Top Satchel was the last of it’s kind, sitting pretty on the marked down shelf at my local BCBG Outlet. Lovely silhouette, pretty leather, a ridiculous sale price… and so I grabbed it! I’ve always admired frame top handbags, just never believed they were for me, but this BCBG proved me wrong. I adore it, it’s so chic, elegant, and definitely classy. One of the questions I had in mind was how well do BCBG handbags hold up with time, as it would have been my first. But with a 70% off its original retail price, I didn’t hesitate to take my chances and so far, so good.

I spotted the Sangria version of this satchel over at Bluefly with a 30% off price tag for $250. It’s not exactly the deal I bargained for, but knowing our friends at Bluefly, they might just surprise its customers with an additional sale soon.

Love the bag Viva! I've seen this bag IRL and it's gorgeous. It was selling at a great price too when I saw it (around $165) but it looked really big on me and I had just bought my black Treesje Mini Asher so I didn't get it.
