Cole Haan Whitney Belted Tote

I was at Nordstrom today, and I found myself browing at the Cole Haan handbags. Cole Haan handbags never really caught my eye but I always thought the shoes were exceptional. When I came across the Cole Haan "Whitney Belted Tote" I was in shock! I actually really liked it! The color was fabulous, and the buckle featured on the handbag made it look that much more stylish.
Even though I think the tote is adorable, I'm not sure how much I would wear it. It definitely doesn't look like a bag you could carry around all year round. I would probably only use this bag in the Fall, and that's it. I don't wear much brown, and when I do I'm always carrying around one of my Louis Vuitton "Monogram" handbag's.
For some reason, this handbag has New York written all over it to me. This looks like a handbag I would see some fashionista in New York carrying around especially around the Soho area. If you collect handbags, this would be a lovely addition to any collection. I'm just not sure how many times a bagista would carry around a brown handbag that has gold accents on it. Overall though, it is a stunning handbag and would be perfect for the upcoming Fall season.

The Cole Haan Whitney Belted Tote can be purchased at Nordstrom for $428. I think the price tag is way too high for this handbag. I would of guessed that it cost around $250, and no where near over $400. It's a stylish handbag, but the price is way too high.

Re: Cole Haan Whitney Belted Tote
Right now I am obsessing over grommet detailing. I think it really makes the bag really stand out. Personally though, I'm not really feelin the chestnut brown color, although it would look amazing matched with any autumn outfit. But for me, in a black version would even be more fab.

It's so-so, nothing spectacular though. I agree with Jennifer, black would be better.

Same opinion. It is very ordinary looking...not bad, but nothing special either..
