Y-3 Klacks Red Shoulder Bag

In case you aren’t aware, Y-3 is the collaboration between Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto and the athletic giant, Adidas. With that kept in mind, I finally get their sporty yet fashionable designs among their goods and accessories. I never found their bags to be too attractive. I apologize to any fans out there, but black nylon on a typical silhouette isn’t all that fun. Fortunetly, Y-3 is expanding their look from the basic nylon to fresh designs with lots of color.
Y-3 Klacks Red Shoulder Bag is a perfect example of this. It’s so different and fun. Here we have a circular shoulder bag in white and red patent leather, that’s definitely spring/ summer ready. I think this is cute, but would I give into this bag? I most definitely wouldn’t. It’s not my style and besides appearance and quality, I also seek comfort ability in a handbag. Round shoulder bags aren’t necessarily perfect for everyday wear, I can just picture sitting this down and the bag see-sawing or rolling away a short distance. Ladies, what’s your input on this piece?
Measuring 15” x 3”, you can find the Y-3’s Klacks bag for $430 over at: ssense.com

Uhm, my first response is nay. I'm not really a fan of the circular shape and stripes. Oh and look at that price tag -->

Re: Y-3 Klacks Red Shoulder Bag
Nay for me. I also don't like the circular stripe look, it looks too mod-looking for me. That is a steep price tag for this bag.

Re: Y-3 Klacks Red Shoulder Bag
Nay. I don't like that it is round- I doubt I could hold all that I need in that bag. And the price is too much IMO.

Re: Y-3 Klacks Red Shoulder Bag
It's a no for me too. I really don't care for the circular shape either...or the price tag for that matter.

Done...I think...Until I find something that catches my eye

Re: Y-3 Klacks Red Shoulder Bag
The shape doesn't bother me that much. It's certainly different. I would worry about what I could fit into since I carry around a ton of stuff......
The price is outrageous though. If it was cheaper and had a cuter pattern instead of the stripes I'd consider it. But seeing how it's a collaboration with Adidas, I guess the stripes are a given....lolYou can put your boots in the oven,
but that don't make em biscuits...

Re: Y-3 Klacks Red Shoulder Bag
OMG! It is way too early for me for this bag! It reminds me of the White Stripes! I thought you were going to tell me they designed the bag! If you don't know what I'm talking about just google Jack White...Whew..that bag is not at all in my taste! At 15" around it looks like they could deliver pizza in that thing!
Life should be less about STRESS
and more about HANDBAGS!!
