Lanvin Assouan Flat Sac
What's this I see? Could this be a new City Tote from Foley and Corinna? Wrong! Try again! This bag is actually one of Lanvin's new additions for Spring. Introducing the Lanvin Assouan Flat Sac.
Soft navy blue leather is paired with brown braided handles and black/silver lucite stud hardware. It is a convertible style, just like the F+Cs I have come to know and love. It can be worn either as a hand-held or a shoulder bag. Or, you can simply take the detachable strap off, fold it in half, and carry it as a nifty magazine clutch. Overall, this bag isn't too bad. I love the rich navy blue color, the studs, and the versatility. The braided leather handles threw me off a little bit at first, but they are starting to grow on me. Foley and Corinna lovers will most likely feel drawn to this bag. I know I do! Now if only it was priced like a F+C!

I like this bag, but I do not like the price tag. I think it is way overpriced! ...and maybe I am thinking that because you can get an F+C style like bag for a fraction of the price!
bRs, I don't think it's insulting that you compared Lanvin to F+C. Maybe they were hardcore Lanvin fans!

Just in case you couldn't tell I was joking, I really don't think F+C invented the convertible handbag. And I don't recall saying so in my blog post... oh well... I guess not everyone is an F+C fan. This bag is a really nice bag, but I could get the same look for much less $$$.
